1. What is your return policy?

If we ship you the wrong item by mistake we will do everything we can to make the situation right. Once we confirm your order information, we will send you a paid return shipping label via email. If you ordered the wrong item by mistake, or simply are not satisfied we will give you a full refund minus shipping costs for your purchase once it has been confirmed and returned to us. To be eligible for a full refund the item must be unworn and unused, in it's original packaging and with all of it's original tags. Custom wheel orders, bike builds, and bike parts that have been installed or used are NOT eligible for a refund. If you have any questions (i.e.-sizing measurements) please use our contact form or email us (chad@powersbikeshop.com) in advance of placing your order. We will do exchanges for items that meet the above criteria, but shipping will be extra. We will be happy to bring items you order online or over the phone to races we attend free of charge. Contact us to coordinate.

2. How do I order a custom wheel build?

You can either contact us directly for custom wheel build information and ordering, or add the items into your shopping cart individually. 


3. Why should I order from Powers Bike Shop and not some other company?

The owner of Powers Bike Shop, Chad Powers, raced BMX for 15 plus years. He is a master wheel builder and bicycle mechanic. When you purchase from us and not the other big box guys you are buying a bmx rider tested and approved product, installed free of charge. We are a small family owned business, and it's our passion for Bmx that drives us to do what we do every day. 

4. How do I get sponsored/how do I get on the Powers Bike Shop Factory Team?

We recruit riders for sponsorship and the team via our own channels that don't involve recruiters or resumes. Asking to get sponsored will 9/10 times result in you not getting sponsored. We believe riders should ride for their own reasons and not to get on a team or get a sponsorship. We find our team riders based on their effort, attitude, loyalty to Powers Bike Shop, how we think their personalities will mesh with other teammates, in addition to their athletic ability. To us it's impossible to quantify in titles or tricks what makes someone Powers Bike Shop team material. Above all the Powers Bike Shop team is a family.

5. Can I have some stickers?

We send out stickers with your online or phone order, or catch us at your local race to grab some from us with any purchase. you are also welcome to send a self address stamped envelope to the shop 711 hospital street unit 1 richmond, VA 23219  

6. How do I know my credit card/personal information won't get stolen if I shop on powersbikeshop.com?

We take your security seriously and want you to have the same confidence shopping with Powers Bike Shop online as you do face-to-face. That is why we have invested significantly in a website and shopping cart platform that is PCI Compliant. To learn more about what that means click the link http://www.shopify.com/pci-compliant. Basically what it says is it would be nearly impossible for anyone to steal your information due to the encrypted channels your credit card and personal data go through when we process your order. When you sign up for an account or add your email to our email list you can be certain that we will never sell or share your information with anyone. Ever. 

 

7. Can I get a discount/deal? Do you price match?

We run sales and specials throughout the year to get you great deals on parts and merchandise. The best way to stay in the loop about what deals we have going on it to sign up for our email list. We also sponsor/co-sponsor several teams which get discounts on select merchandise anywhere from 10-35% off. To inquire getting your team a discount or co-sponsorship please email emilia@powersbikeshop.com. We are a small, family owned business and truthfully we simply do not have the same margins as other big box companies to give you huge discounts. We seek to bring a greater value to your shopping experience through our knowledge and expertise of all things Bikes, quality parts, certified technicians that install your parts, and maintaining a relationship with you and your family that goes beyond that of other companies. 

8. Do you take saver stamps?

YES! We can accept saver stamps for any order. Simply total up your order online and then send your saver stamps in to us at 711 Hospital Street Richmond VA 23219. When we receive your stamps we can process your order.
